Street Tacos are designed to be an alternative to putting a small piece of tape on your cymbal for subtle dampening. The tags are mounted facing outwards to facilitate hooking onto a cymbal post. Dampening varies with cymbal size. The dampening removes some resonance while retaining a pleasant giggable/recordable sound - without having to commit to tape gunk on your cymbal! They also make excellent decorative ornaments and we’ve seen customers use them as a more subtle drum dampener than a full sized Drum Tortilla.

Street Tacos are 5” in diameter. We make them from pieces of fabric remaining from retired designs too small to make full size Drum Tortillas. Due to the large number of designs we are pulling from (think years of scraps) we cannot sell street tacos by specific designs.
